BOLSTERSTONE is a hamlet and manor, 8 miles N.W. of Sheffield, being at a distance of 2 miles from Bradfield. A chapel of ease was founded here by Sir Robert Rockley, in 1412; and the Rev. W. Irving is incumbent both here and at Midhope. Mrs Rimmington is patroness of the curacy.
